As we just passed the halfway point of the school year, I want to give a big thank you to all of you, our families, for your support. We are watching our students flourish in the classroom each and every day, which could not happen without YOU! This past January we had the highest month of attendance at Obsidian in four years! We know that being at school each day positively impacts classroom performance, social interactions, and emotional development. As a result, we have seen grades and test scores on the rise and behavior incidents declining. It takes a community working together to make a difference, and we are grateful for each and every one of you.

We are so proud of our student athletes! Girls basketball and boys/girls wrestling is underway and our athletes are representing OMS with pride! We encourage you to come out and support our student athletes.

We are so excited to welcome our Wolves in and want to ensure that we have the best learning environment possible for our amazing students. In order to support that mission, we continue to discuss expectations and review how to be a positive contributor to our school community.
