Posted Date: 10/05/26 (02:35 PM)

Hello Obsidian, Lynch, and John Tuck Families and Staff,

The City of Redmond and Redmond School District are working together on a Safe Routes to School Plan to identify ways to make walking and biking to MA Lynch Elementary, John Tuck Elementary and Obsidian Middle School safer and easier for students and families. We want to hear from you!

Families can participate in several ways:

• Walk Audits
October 15 at 3:00 p.m. at John Tuck Elementary
October 16 at 7:00 a.m. at Obsidian Middle School
October 16 at 8:15 a.m. at MA Lynch Elementary

The project team will observe arrival and dismissal and document walking and biking conditions around each school. Look for the yellow vests.

• Community Open House
October 15, 6:00-7:00 p.m.
Redmond City Hall

Come share your ideas and experiences with the project team.

• Online Map
Share your experiences getting to and from school through the project's interactive online map. Your feedback will help identify where safety improvements should be prioritized.
